FIFA pays 209 million euros to clubs, plus Dunajska Streda

The International Football Federation (FIFA) is paying $ 209 million to clubs whose players have participated in the World Championships in Russia. The tournament was played by 736 footballers from 384 teams.

The money is distributed according to a formula that takes into account the number of designated club players and the number of days passed in the final tournament until the day the national team of a particular player disqualified from the tournament. FIFA will also cover a preparation period of two weeks before the start of the event.

The number of players played does not count. Based on this formula, FIFA has calculated that each player will pay $ 8,530 per day (approximately € 7,300 per day).

In practice, this means, for example, that Luka Modric, for example, spent 32 days at the world championships, so the Real Madrid will receive $ 272,960 plus compensation for the preparation
