The largest shopping center in Slovakia is bankrupt. The sales complex near Voderad sued the bankruptcy courts. Another fate of "Slovakia Parndorf" is now in the hands of the courts. The complex had to be solved with problems in the past.

The company, which is behind the whole center, has filed for bankruptcy of the Bratislava I District Court. The court ruling was published in the Business Journal of today. "The court starts bankruptcy proceedings against the debtor One Fashion Outlet 1", informed the court in the last issue of the bulletin.

Recovery did not help

According to the cadastre, this company still owns the entire complex as well as operators of the center. She had problems in the past when she asked the restructuring courts.

In February 2017, the creditors' committee approved a turnaround plan giving the operator a year and a half to find a new investor. "There are intensive negotiations with potential investors, in cooperation with creditors and in particular the financing banks and expert advisers," said restructuring head Ivanka Ikrényi.
