Most of the Venezuelan metropolis Caracas remained Tuesday without electricity after the breakdown of a local power plant. AP reported.
Venezuelan Minister of Energy, Luis Motta Domínguez, confirmed that without electricity, there remained about 80% of Caracas, as well as parts of the neighboring Venezuelan states Miranda and Vargas.
Several Venezuelan media reported that many residents of Caracas were walking Tuesday because of a blackout and that a local metro was out of use.
