The mobile internet is faster than Wi-Fi in many countries of the world, including Slovakia

The connection to the Internet with the help of mobile data has become very popular in recent years. Mobile browsing also tries to satisfy operators who exploit the amount of data they offer. Otherwise, this is not even the case in Slovakia, although the size of the flats can not be compared to that of the rest of the world. Does this mean a change in customer preferences and progressive Wi-Fi removal?

Interesting results of the study

Obviously, the goal is really cool. According to OpenSignal's statistics on Internet connectivity and signal quality, mobile connectivity is better and faster in 33 countries around the world. The study dates back to November of this year and was completed in four months. The sample included nearly 8 million smartphones from 80 countries worldwide.

The list includes countries from all continents. For many, it will be a surprise, but on a list of countries, Kenya, Uzbekistan and Morocco are also Slovakia. The biggest difference in connection speed is felt by Australians, which is 13 Mbps. Greece (10.6 Mbps) and the Czech Republic (10.2 Mbps) were also in the top 10. Slovakia was ranked 24th with an average connection speed difference of 2.3 Mbps. All data was recorded for download speed, download.

Wi-Fi has been introduced more quickly in countries that are among the most advanced technologies. Singapore, Hong Kong or South Korea, unlisted, from Europe, for example, the Netherlands, Norway or Germany.
