Greenpeace activists have today climbed into an extraction tower in the Hornonitrian mines from Prievidza to Novaky. There are also dozens of firefighters, police and lifeguards.
As a sign of protest against coal mining, Greenpeace activists climbed into an extraction tower located in the Hornonitrian Mines Prievidza Mines (HBP) in Novák. Their link is: "Finish the coal mine!", Informed Greenpeace about it.

Originally, they wanted to hang a 15 meter long banner on the BPH mining tower. So the weather conditions and security issues have not been resolved.
Activists believe that it is a non-violent demonstration that indicates the source of the coal problem in Slovakia.
