According to Prešov police spokeswoman Jana Ligdayová, the contract stipulated that after receiving the funds, the seller would send the material to him, but this has not happened yet. Police have started criminal proceedings for fraud, the author being punishable by a two-year sentence.
The fraud charge was served by a 29-year-old man from Ruský Potok, who had again started paying money for the exchange of windows in a family home in Snina. Since the owner, in 2016, he has collected more than two thousand euros, but no work has been done yet and he has not returned the money. The accused is prosecuted for free.
