BRATISLAVA – The sons Paulin and Ivona Fialki have signed a sports contract with the Slovak Biathlon Federation (SZB) and will be able to take part in the opening ceremony of the World Cup in Pokljuke, Slovenia. The signing took place after a mediation meeting at the Slovenian Olympic Committee (SOV). This has been confirmed by Ľubomír Souček, SOV Media Communication Manager.
The dispute between Sisters Fialkovi and SZB is linked to the agreement of national sports representative, which must be signed by all representatives. The two representatives refused, disagreeing with several of his points, particularly with regard to the transfer of personal rights to the union. To help, they retained the services of GARANT PARTNER legal s.r.o., a lawyer, who claimed that she was right to be the chief sports inspector in Slovakia.
The SZB reacted to the non-signing of the contract, so that its Disciplinary Committee of 16 November banned nurses from starting competitions associated with the Slovak Republic and has so far insisted that its opinion be taken into account. account. On Wednesday, the Slovak Minister of Defense Peter Gajdoš and the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sports of RS Martina Lubyová, also called on SZB leaders to abolish the prohibition to represent the nuns of Fialkov. According to Luby, they were interested in the public interest at the opening ceremony of the PS in Pokljuka and, although they were not allowed to fill it, they threatened the union with sanction.
