Work in progress is continuing at the Košice football stadium and the first signs of future stands are already evident.

The Košice football stadium (KFA) is expected to have a capacity of 13,000 spectators and almost 20 million euros (excluding VAT) are needed for its construction.

The construction of a new football field in Košice is divided into three phases. After the first, the stadium will have a capacity of nearly 6,000 and will have two opposing stands. The project is expected to be completed by 2020.

The team is supposed to play their matches in this stadium in the future FC Košice and others FC Lokomotiva Kosice.
