Béla Bugár, president of Mosta-Hid, threatened to leave the coalition if the law prohibiting the singing of a foreign anthem in Slovakia without the presence of an official delegation had changed.
"If there is no agreement, we can not be in such a coalition," Bugar said at a press conference. He added, however, that coalition partners had "promised" him not to include such a provision in the law.

He stressed that he also promised the President of the Republic, Andrej Kisk, not to sign such a law and return to parliament.
The discussion on the new Slovak national hockey jerseys sparked a debate on the display of the symbols of the state. This resulted in a bill by SNS deputies to clarify their use.
But there was something nobody had planned. In the amendment, the limitation of the singing of the hymn of another state was also removed. The law was approved by the National Council through the votes of the coalition, but also to the opposition parties, LOVE, We Are Family or LISS.
The approved text provoked an uproar, especially among the ranks of the Hungarian minority. The hymn of our southern neighbor sings at the beginning of the school year, or even on the masses because it is essentially a prayer.

Bugár has not apologized to the Hungarian community for the fact that seven members of the Most-Hid party have voted for this law. Bela Bugar told reporters that he was not present during the vote.
"There was a resolution that does not belong to Europe in the 21st century," Bugar said. He also sees the mistake with other lawmakers.
"There were not 108 other MPs," Bugar said.
Opposition MP Ondrej Dostal (SaS) does not agree with the president of Most-Hida. According to him, it was a targeted change.

"I do not think it's fair that the Slovak anthem does not play before the match at Dunajska Streda, but that the Hungarian is playing or even singing," Tittel said.
According to him, it is necessary to define whether they sing the hymn or the Hungarian folk song.
"I confess that I do not know the text or the details of the Hungarian anthem, and that we have not gone into this law with such intention," says Tittel.

The news is expected to be May 18, to be changed on May 9 during the next parliamentary session.
"There was an error, but the law is not valid," Bugar said, noting that if Most-Hid had not been part of the coalition, he would not have been in able to repair the news.
Bugár continued to attack Zsolt Simon, who had started a petition against the law. Simon did not vote for the law.
