According to the Slovak Constitution, the new Slovak President must be appointed at 12 noon. It is at this moment that the office of the former president comes to an end.
At noon, Andrej Kiska finished his office and Zuzana Čaputová had to keep his presidential promise at that time.
The logistics Ladislav Spacek said in a live broadcast of Markiza that there was an unexpected situation at the inauguration. Slovakia did not have 7 minutes of president. By the time Zuzana Čaputová had promised, the speaker of parliament, Andrej Danko, had made his speech impossible.
In his words, Andrej Danko should not have spoken at the inauguration.
