Bratislava, July 10 (TASR) – Since the beginning of the month of July 2018, 535,025 taxpayers file documents electronically. As of December 2017, they were 365,000. More than 170,000 taxable people have registered for electronic communications with the financial administration in the first six months of the year.

A significant increase in the number of electronic communications is related to the expansion of mandatory electronic communications. Since 1 January 2018, all legal entities registered in the commercial register have already been communicated electronically and all natural persons have been business leaders since 1 July.

The Financial Administration has taken several steps to facilitate electronic communications. From May to June, she organized a training on electronic communications, which she sent in all the official mailboxes of the financial report, edited the redesign portal and notably merged the registration process. and authorization in one step. , acting on their behalf. The changes on the portal, as well as in the personal area of ​​the taxpayer, will continue. Other adjustments will be made by the financial administration in stages. It also cooperates with external partners such as the Slovak Tax Forum and the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisers. Their comments are gradually incorporated.

The financial report provides that the number of communicating entities electronically will increase by about 200,000 by March 2019 at the latest. In practice, electronic communication with financial management is mandatory for electronic communication only when they have to submit a financial report to a document, and by March 2019 at the latest, a tax return for the year former.
