Ethiopian deputies on Friday passed a relentless amnesty law that will allow convicts or treason investigators.
The new law also allows the granting of an amnesty for crimes against the country's constitution and the share of armed robbery. Legislation should allow hundreds of exile activists and opposition groups to return from Eritrea, Kenya, Somalia and the United States and make a career in Ethiopia

The law is part of a series of reforms that have been made since the entry into office of Ahmed on April 2. The new prime minister took office after the resignation of his predecessor after massive anti-government protests.
