Miroslav Lajčák is expected to remain Foreign Minister, wants Robert Fico (Smeru-SD). But the head of the Slovak diplomacy has again indicated that he could leave his post.

Fico said Tuesday that he cared that such a qualified diplomat, like Lajčák, remains the foreign minister.
The former Prime Minister did not, however, explain how Parliament would oppose the United Nations Global Compact on Migration. Just for this document, Lajčák admits his resignation.
Fico did not even answer questions from reporters to find out if he had the ambition to become his successor in the station after a possible departure from Lajčákova.
Lajčák made an appearance on Tuesday in Germany at the Berlin foreign policy forum. At the conference on the future of Europe, he reaffirmed that he remained at the head of diplomacy. "If my country decides to be on the wrong side of history, I can not choose to represent it more," he said.

Fico announced a few days ago on the social network that the overall framework did not comply with the overall migration policy of the Slovak Republic and that it was also unacceptable for Smer-SD. Lajčák is appointed Ministerial President.

Last week's Lajčák told the MP that no one would sign the pact anywhere. The document is legally non-binding.
Fico has its own opinion on this issue: "The global fact is a legally binding but politically very powerful document.There is already very strong political pressure to make its commitment useless, just an error in form." Slovakia must be defined negatively in the global pact, "said the head of the Social Democrats.
