Google Pay already supports tickets, tickets and sending money to friends

Google is gradually improving its Google Pay payment platform launched in February on our market. An app can now be used to balance accounts and enter an airplane or concert.

Google Pay is supposed to be since the beginning of the application to replace our wallet. It began with contactless payments and continues with the preservation of digital tickets and tickets. Google Pay currently only supports Ticketmaster and Southwest, but Eventbrite, Singapore Airlines and Vueling will eventually be added

In addition, the application also supports the sending of money to friends, for example, by paying common accounts, these accounts can be divided into equal shares. Once the total amount is entered, the application sends a payment request to all who pay their share comfortably via Google Pay

None of the news mentioned above is available on our market yet. The launch of the Google Pay web version, through which you can modify your registered credit cards and display the balance of your current account, is a little reluctant.

With new features, Google is getting closer to the competing Apple Pay service, which we have not seen in Slovakia yet. The launch of Apple Pay in neighboring countries, however, suggests that it could change over the next year

Google Pay is an excellent alternative to conventional credit cards, but also to banking applications. Until now, only 5 Slovak banks support it, but others have to be added. It is already a smart app with great potential.
