Google photo albums are also available in Slovakia, but prices are competitive

At the end of May, Google introduced a new service in Google Photos. Users in the United States can create square photo albums from their photos, which also creates the system automatically. Later, the service appeared on the main European markets and now in our country. How it works?

The big advantage is that you do not need anything extra. You do not need another application, you do not need to go anywhere on the web. Everything happens in the Google Photos interface. In the application menu, go to the photo book and start creating it.

Google will offer you a choice of the best images, but it is easier to create a book, for example, on the basis of a trip, vacation or other event. Google photos can be automatically cut into the book based on the date and time of their creation.

You do not take a lot of pictures with photos. You can only reduce it to a square with a white border, to the original aspect ratio, or to fill the entire page. Add the plural and the description or create a collage. Of course, it is also cut or replaced by another photo.

Excessive prices?

In the United States, there is a 7-inch photo book with 20 pages of 10 dollars, a larger book (9 inches) and 20 duplicate pages. In the UK you will pay £ 11.99 for a smaller photo book for £ 22.99.

On our market for a small book of dimensions 18 x 18 cm, you pay at least 12.99 € with 20 pages. Each other part (2 photos) costs 0.49 €. This price could still be acceptable, even if we do not know the quality of Google's paper and ties, but paying nearly $ 6 for a shipment is a very high amount.

The 23 x 23 cm book costs € 22.99, still for 20 pages and € 5.99 for home delivery. Delivery takes 9 to 11 business days. If you wish to deliver a book earlier, you can pay for it and get it within 4 to 7 business days. You will pay for that € 13.99. In the case of a smaller book, therefore, more than the book itself.
