The Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) works with the GALACSI Adaptive Optics Module. This allows the binoculars to correct turbulence at different altitudes in the atmosphere, thus obtaining incredibly crisp and clear images of the universe derived from the Earth in the observatory.

MUSE is the first technology to use two adaptive optical modes: wide and narrow. Narrow Field Mode is what creates this incredible, crisp image of Neptune – Corrects almost all turbulence on binoculars

The difference is obvious. On the left, we see the image after turning on adaptive optics, and on the right, it is devoid of adaptive optics

The VLT makes better pictures than the Hubble telescope telescope. Again, you can compare it in the figure below.

Remember that large VLT telescopes can be used individually. They have optics of such quality that they see objects up to four billion times lower than what can be seen with the naked eye.
