Up to now, the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) has recorded the highest temperature during the summer of this year in Biel Kostol near Trnava.

The temperature reached 35.3 degrees Celsius. The Institute has informed on the social network.

"The afternoon at 15:00 here was 35.3 degrees C. This value is still the highest measured air temperature in our territory this year," SHM said.

High temperatures reaching nearly 35 degrees Celsius, also measured in Hurbanov, Ziari nad Hronom, Nitra, Levice and in the villages of Mužla, Gbelka and Horný Lefantovce
