British driver Lewis Hamilton on Mercedes starts pole position Sunday at the Hungarian F1 Grand Prix.
The champion of the title was the fastest Saturday on the Hungaroring ahead of teammate Valtter Bottas of Finland, third on the wet track of his compatriot Kimi Räikkönen on Ferrari
Hamilton reached the fifth pole position of the season and finished 77th in career. In the current championship standings, Brit has 17 points ahead of the German Sebastian Vettell (Ferrari), who qualified in fourth place
