Police found stolen art works in Turin in 2017

Police in northern Italy discovered two million stolen images in 2017. Their authors are the famous painters Pierre Auguste Renoir and Peter Paul Rubens

The Italian artistic police exhibited both paintings to journalists Friday in the city of Monza, northern Italy, in the Lombardy region

Investigators believe that the paintings were stolen in Monza, by a pair of art traders. The suspects have been proclaimed as buyers. Miracles, according to the police, have signed a false contract pledging to pay 26 million euros for both paintings. At a time when merchants were busy, thieves were drawing pictures and going away, according to the investigators.

Italian police made it clear that the works of art were found in the Turin warehouse. In connection with this robbery, the investigators have eight suspects. There are four Italians and one Croat who were arrested last month, AP writes.
