Bratislava, 27 November (TASR) – Preschool children should have free lunch from January 1st of next year. Children in the first and second year of elementary school up to from September of next year. Cities and municipalities, as well as schools, will have sufficient time to provide technical facilities and possibly supplement the work of the dining room. The members of the Smer-SD party and the Association of Towns and Municipalities of Slovakia have given their agreement. Robert Fico, party chairman, also announced that the Ministry of Finance had promised two million euros to solve the potential problems related to this measure in practice.
