Many people still believe that Wi-Fi is faster than a mobile connection. Is this really true?

The vast majority of smartphones have the urge to automatically connect to the available Wi-Fi hotspot simply because they are configured by the manufacturers. We often view Wi-Fi signals as more stable and faster, according to a study by the company Open signal this is not the case in many countries around the world.

The aforementioned company specializes in wireless coverage mapping. His study tested the speed of Wi-Fi and mobile connections up to 80 countries.

Interesting results

His results were surprised by many. According to them, mobile internet is faster than Wi-Fi up to 33 countries tested and in many cases even numbered numbers. Countries such as Australia, Lebanon, Greece or Myanmar are mobile connections up to 10 – 13 Mbps faster than the point of Wi-Fi access.

How is Slovakia doing?

In the rankings they also appeared average values measured Slovak and Czech users. It is surprising that, as in many other countries, the mobile connection is faster in Slovakia.
