The news will be known as Nubia Red Magic Mars.
Chinese company ZTE has officially introduced a new video game-oriented phone within its Nubia brand. He will follow the Red Magic pattern and will be called "Nubia Red Magic Mars". For example, GSMArena.com points out.
Compared to the predecessor, many important changes have made the phone even more powerful – which is more or less expected of games-oriented devices.
While the original Red Magic smartphone offered this year's Snapdragon 835 chips, the latest version includes this year's flagship chipset, Qualcomm – Snapdragon 845. The chipset is complemented by a special ICE cooling with a pair of heatpipes. It will be associated with a maximum of 10 GB of RAM and a 256 GB flash – even in this case it has been improved. However, the base model will offer 6GB of RAM and 64GB of flash memory. The display is 6 inches with Full HD + resolution.
The operating system is "Red Magic OS 1.6", which is already based on Android 9.0 Pie.
Nubia Red Magic Mars also features a dedicated electronic sports button and a pair of touch pads on the side of the phone – they serve as buttons for easy control of the game. They offer a tactile feedback called "4D Shock".
The phone also has stereo speakers with DTS 7.1 audio. The battery has a robust (although recordable) capacity of 3800 mAh, and there is no specially designed LED strip.
At the back we find a 16 megapixel camera (f / 1.8) and a fingerprint reader, the selfie front camera measures 8 megapixels.
A special Bluetooth driver with additional buttons can be added to the optional gaming smartphone. There will also be a special "box" with a USB C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack and a built-in DAC converter. ZTE also offers a headset with microphone.
Nubia Red Magic Mars must be offered in the black meteorite and flame red colors and in the high-end model in Camo's special color version.
While the base model should cost around 350 euros after the calculation, the top model with 10 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory should exceed 500 euros.
Availability on the Slovak market is unclear. For example, the original model is already sold in Slovakia.
