Martin, July 22 (TASR) – The weaving of the canvas, the application of linseed oil or the production of shaved shingles was presented on Sunday at the Slovak National Museum of the Slovak National Museum (SNM) in Martin.
The folklore group Nižná Ves from Nižná gave visitors to Tatiana Kadlecová the folklore area SNM Return of the Fellows. "The singer Senkova from Podbiela was produced with the program of the Perinárky wedding party and the folk ensemble Oravan Senior from Nižná with Oravský pásm, which also included goral folklore," said Kadlecová.
She added that in the object of Oravská Veselé there were demonstrations of weaving fabric, but also cloth mats or actress. "There were samples of linseed oil in the oil mill, and visitors could also see shaking sheep or shredded shingles," Kadlec added.
The Orava Sunday event was realized as part of the cross-border project Pri cestě na dedinu – at the pace of the work of the former industrial and artisanal facilities of the Interreg V-A cross-border cooperation program Poland – Slovakia 2014-2020. The project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
