O2 Slovakia has registered more than 1.97 million customers as of June 30 | Article | goods

Bratislava, July 27 (TASR) – As of June 30 this year, O2 Slovakia has registered more than 1.97 million customers. The turnover of the first two quarters increased 8.7% year on year to more than 140 million euros. Data traffic yields also contributed to business revenue growth, up 12% from one year to the next. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBITDA) increased by almost 17% year on year to 51 million euros

"In the second quarter, we focused on improving the coverage of our 4G network, available for nearly 94% of the population. "We checked the availability in May and June of our customers," said Peter Gažík, CEO of O2 Slovakia.

According to him, the number of billed customers increased the most and their share in the total customer base grew by almost 61% .The average monthly revenue per customer (ARPU) reached 13.2 euros in the second quarter of 2018 for customers paying an invoice and 4.7 euros for prepaid customers
