FOTO: This is how Banska Bystrica observed the lunar eclipse
Fears of bad weather did not materialize in Banská Bystrica, and the inhabitants of the city of Urpín saw the longest and longest eclipse of the moon
The moon gradually began to lower in our latitudes around nine-thirty in the evening and the climax of the complete eclipse occurred at 22 22. We could observe a complete eclipse even after 11 o'clock, ending partially until midnight
when the moon was partly lit by the faint light passing through the earth's atmosphere. Then, the natural satellite of our planet got the red coloring. This has attributed magical effects in the past. But today, we know that it is a natural phenomenon caused by the refraction of sunlight in the Earth 's atmosphere.
Even though Slovak climbing systems continued throughout the day, the Banskobystricians smiled in the evening.
