Plane presents its new gastronomic arcade. See what it looks like

The new gastronomic project is part of a long-term strategy to transform the Avion shopping center to meet the demands of the present time. The new gastronomic arcade is set in a place formerly occupied by Hypernova.

Avion Mall Director Vladimir Bereš admits the weather is changing, "OThe opening of the aircraft in 2002 has changed a lot. Customer requirements and expectations are constantly evolving and retail is changing rapidly due to technology, urbanization, the economy and other factors. Even in Avion, we want to adapt to the new trend and remain an attractive place in the long term for our client, to recognize his needs and desires ", explains V. Bereš.

This also adapted the general design of the new gastronomic arcade, which was managed by Suchánek architecture studio. The architects who worked on the design describe the project as a hypermarket reduction and its goal is to create a meeting place from Airplane.

Designed to inspire the Scandinavian style and admit that it was not an easy task. The space they worked with was 24 meters wide, 72 meters high and 11 meters high.

The most recent thing was to work with a space that had two tennis courts, similar to the Davis Cup. They also incorporated an optical deception into the project for the passage to appear shorter than its actual length. This was done by the gallery, which is in the middle of the passage and is gradually expanding.

The gastric passage was able to accommodate up to 650 seats, divided into eight different zones. The region is dominated by natural materials, especially wood, which radiates space and makes it pleasant.

In addition, the acoustics were not lost and acoustically diffuse materials were used. This avoided excessive noise.

The choice of establishments that will operate in the new gastronomic arcade has not been made either."We have tried to choose a gastronomic offer to reach as many visitors as possible, which is why we have focused not only on verified brands, but also on new and increasingly popular street catering concepts such as: that Regal Burger, Thali or Pho.The condition was that each operation in the new premises also brought information to the menu ", explains the project manager R. Galamboš.

There will be 20 new operations there. You can read the list below. All the reconstruction of the space was standing 12.5 million euros. "We believe that the new passage will become a meeting place for different communities, a place where people are inspired, know the new technologies, buy, eat and spend their time naturally." adds V. Bereš.
