The CAT specialist has announced a new offer. It applies to any new CAT equipment, but already purchased, which is covered by the warranty period.
If the owner of CAT damages or destroys Corning Gorilla Glass or displays directly on his device, the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace it at any time during the warranty period.
However, as stated in CAT's representation with us, the offer does not apply in all cases. Although the number of repairs within the warranty period is not limited, the authorized service department reserves the right to assess if the unit has been intentionally damaged.
The procedure is as follows:
- The customer orders the removal of his phone from the authorized VSP Data service pages.
- VSP data determines if the display is damaged by violence and if the phone is repaired
- The phone is sent back to the customer
Nevertheless, it is the manufacturer's commitment that is worth it. All the while the average cost of screen repairs usually represents a fraction of the price of a more expensive phone or we can already buy a new phone for a similar amount. On average, it can also climb to two, three hundred or more depending on the model.
