Mountain rescuers found tourists on Zajac.

Four-day tourists to Malej Fatra were looking for mountain rescuers on Saturday (5.1.). After almost four hours of research, the group managed to locate them on Zajac.

Officials of the Mountain Rescue Service (HZS) indicated on their official website that a friend of four tourists had been requested. They met from Grand Krivan and sent a message saying that they were approaching the saddle of Snilov. As the cabin cable car was already closed, they did not dare to walk to Vratna.

Without injuries

Mountain rescuers asked the cable car for an extraordinary launch of the cable car to Snilov's saddle. But they did not find them even after the circumnavigation.

"It was impossible to get in touch with the men, they did not even respond to the SMS, and other groups of rescuers left the field looking down every possible Krivan descent." four hours after the search, the group was able to locate above Zajac, "said the site. After a difficult encounter in difficult winter conditions, they were frozen and exhausted, but without injury.

The group then went down in the off-road car. The team transferred them to Dom HZS in Štefanová. From there, they continued alone.
