The German pilots of the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair decided to go on strike if the wage dispute is not resolved in the coming days.
The union Vereinigung Cockpit reported Monday that 96% of pilots voted for the strike. The airline's union organization has accused the government of saving time since the January collective bargaining pledges.
Experts said Ryanair is offering a deadline by August 6 for an acceptable proposal. If pilots start the strike next week, it would affect thousands of German passengers returning from summer holidays
