Samsung has already announced the arrival of SSD 860 QVO SSD, which brought a good capacity and a good price. The company did not say that SSDs had finally been officially introduced and that the price was more than acceptable. For example, a 1 TB model will cost you 150 USD (we will find the Slovak price).
Samsung's 860 QVO SSD can easily deliver up to 64-layer QLC cells 4 TB capacity. Disks offer sequential write speeds 520 MB / s, the writing speed must be at a level 550 MB / s.
With SSDs, however, other settings than write speeds are important. For example, we can mention number of cycles guaranteed lubrication and cell transcription. It's the same for all models (1 to 4 TB). With 1 TB of disk it is 360 TBso exactly 360 transcripts. It's more than a generous value. If such a disc would writes daily for example 50 GB (and it's a sparkling value), it would be over 24 years.
Samsung adds to the disk 3 years warranty (we check or apply to Slovakia), which cancels somehow the guaranteed number of lubrication cycles and cell transcription. Anyway, the records will be solid, the cheapest, 1 TB, to be around $ 150 and should come in December.
