Several regions of Slovakia are experiencing a strong wind threatening the raft

BRATISLAVA. A violent wind that will reach 65-85 km / h in a short time will flood the districts of Brezno, Rožňava, Gelnica, Košice-okolie, Košice, Trebišov and Michalovce on Thursday.

It recalls that the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ), which issued alert level 1 before 14 hours.

Meteorologists also warn against the creation of tongues and snow curves, especially in the north and east of Slovakia, which could pose a danger to traffic activities.

Temperatures of up to -16 degrees Celsius will affect the districts of Námestovo, Tvrdošín, Poprad, Kezmarok, Stará Ľubovňa, Spišská Nová Ves, Levoča and Sabinov.

Meteorologists expect a minimum temperature of -15 to -16 degrees Celsius overnight for Thursday and Friday nights. According to the SHMU, such a low temperature is a potential danger to human health and physical activity on the outside.
