LPG cars have been with us for years, many motorists are also enthusiasts to convert their petrol fuel jets. Unfortunately, only gasoline and diesel cars currently offer damage, LPG and NGV see the hole in the market and its near future. The Octavia has been doing gas for years, but she recently forgot it. However, it comes with an improved version of the Octavia for gas, specifically CNG. The new Octavia G-Tec gets a 1.5-liter engine, compared to the past, it will have a higher power of 20 horsepower that will make 130 horsepower. The CNG tank, which after the new intake of 21 kg of CNG, will increase, the tank will be lighter and the total consumption will decrease up to 5%. The only problem is that there is always a shortage of CNG service stations, on the other hand, when you refuel, the GNC will last 620 km, gasoline for 300 km.
Octavia on LPG is on the way but nobody knows anything yet. LPG has an incomparably higher taste than CNG, so this measure would certainly not be detrimental. However, it is laudable that Škoda can not be removed from the electrical trend and wants to bring us an interesting and attractive alternative drive
