The operator has 800,000 competing customers of the satellite service.
M7 Group, which operates Skylink, announces the purchase of satellite operators in four countries.
There are freeSAT brands in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, UPC Direct in Hungary and FocusSat in Romania. The transaction will have to be approved by the regulator, which is planned for the first half of next year.
freeSAT has about 75,000 pay-TV subscribers in Slovakia. Together, the service has approximately 800,000 customers in four countries.
"For us, it is a very logical acquisition that will allow us to consolidate Skylink's satellite TV activities in the Czech and Slovak markets," said Hans Troelstra, managing director of the M7 group. Towercom's satellite service and in September and Flix TV.

Not how much
We do not yet know what the other satellite service plans will be. However, there is a probable connection with our market with Skylink, which has more than half a million customers.
We also do not know how much the M7 group will pay for service in four countries.
Sales were however expected – FreeSat owner (same as UPC) sold the cable section in Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic to the operator Vodafone. We have not yet come to sell the cable section. Vodafone is probably not interested in UPC as there is no mobile operator here.
