The contest of the fifth year photographers of the country 2018 has its winners. The jury chose from among 3000 fascinating photos 863 photographers. Slovak photographer Peter Svoboda was among the top three. The 2018 Global Country Photographer was Adam Gibbs from Canada.

"Looking at Adam Gibbs' nature portfolio, we can see the diversity of opinions, the understanding of the world and the professional use of framing and composition,"the jury explained. "Adam's pictures show a whole range of topics that constitute an essential element" she continued. Adam found his inspiration mostly in his hometown of Vancouver. As he says, it's a very special place.
The third best portfolio was shot by Košice Svoboda. Not at all, Peter will not go without a camera. His paintings often capture the precious moments of the presence of people in nature to emphasize the respect of the man towards her.
