The founder of Tesla announced that the company plans to cover all of Europe with Supercharger charging stations next year. They are used to charge Tesla electric vehicles. Elon Musk revealed this in a message posted on the social network Twitter, in response to a question from the future owner of Tesla Model X.
He asked questions about the company's plans for expanding charging stations in Ireland. Musk responded that the charging network was planning to expand next year, not only in Ireland, but that Supercharger chargers would increase to 100% in Europe, from Ireland to Kiev and from Norway to Turkey.
Boss Tesly also announced an increase in coverage last month. He then said that the number of Supercharger stations would have doubled by the end of 2019 and that shippers would represent between 95 and 100% of the population in all active markets.
However, Electrek testified that Tesla had failed to meet its pricing targets in the past. For example, the company wanted to have 18,000 shippers by the end of the year, but currently has 11,853 shippers. It did not reach the same goal in 2017.
