The concept of Audi e-tron GT electric sedan will be presented for two days already. The market will come in 2020, ranking in the same segment as the Tesla Model S. Currently, the manufacturer is trying to get the first video adventure. What do we know about upcoming news?
In August 2016, Audi confirmed that it would launch in 2020 an electric sedan based on the Audi A9 e-tron / Prologue concept. Rupert Stadler, president of the automaker, then announced that this model would be part of the new "sub-brand" of high-performance cars "Audi Sport".
From Porsche Taycan
Two months ago, the automaker revealed that he was working with the Porsche car to develop the Audi e-tron GT. The company is preparing its first electric car, also a high-end sedan, the Taycan Porsche next year. And it is from this model that the e-tron GT will be launched.
The Audi e-tron GT and Porsche Taycan will have a common platform J1. The Audi sedan also operates, for example, the 800-volt battery system. Thanks to it, it can be recharged on ultra-fast charging stations with a power of 350 kW. We already have such a charger in Slovakia.

According to Johannes Eckstein, e-tron's marketing manager, the Audi e-tron GT is 80% charged in just 12 minutes. As a comparison, the recently introduced Audi e-tron SUV with a 95 kWh battery should take a 150 kW charger for 30 minutes.
Parameters Porsche Taycan?
We do not know more technical specifications for the Audi e-tron GT. But you could be close to the Porsche Taycan team. And so let us introduce them for reasons of interest. Taycan has an output power of 440 kW (600 hp), thanks to two electric motors built permanently. Its Li-Ion battery has an energy density of 270 Wh / kg and a range of 500 km. From 0 to 100 km / h, they accelerated in 3.5 seconds.
Mix of design
The official trailer published gives us no details, but the silhouette of the car gives us an idea of the design. Its back side recalls the concept of the SUC Audi e-tron electric Sportback, which will be available next year. The side lines do not go far from the Taycan Porsche.
The revelation of the Audi e-tron GT concept car will take place on November 28 at the Los Angeles Motor Show.
