The question of a possible new extension of the plant is open to the future, which would imply a third change of work.

For this scenario, the automaker is gearing up with the intent laid out in the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (EIA), which extends the logistic space of materials and logistics planning and built a new plant to install battery modules and large batteries. Phase 2 would increase production to 300,000 cars a year.

"From the start, we announced that we would do another feasibility study to consider a possible future expansion of the Nitra plant. This could potentially achieve a total capacity of up to 300,000 vehicles per year over the next decade, "said Remenar for SITA.

According to her, the EIA's bid is tied to the intention of thinking about the future of the Nitra breed if the company decided to extend it later. "Any feasibility study is the subject of a thorough evaluation and analysis of the company and we have not yet made a final decision in this area," he said. declared Remenar.

The manufacturer's strategic plans include ultra-pure diesel and gasoline engines, BEV, PHEV and MHEV. By 2020, the Jaguar Land Rover will offer the possibility of electrification of all new vehicles of the company.
