The Stylish, the Extremists and Len's Exceptional Attack the Slovak Market

[ad_1]

Big Five finally arrives on the Slovak market. Here is how it could be summarized in the recent Lenovo product presentation. These are the pieces that were originally listed at the IFA Technology Fair 2018 and are currently sold in our country too. The news lies in two well-established product families: the convertible yoga family and the ThinkPad business family.

Yoga C930

The latest "flagship product" in the Yoga range combines performance and design with functional, modern aluminum. But Lenovo has prepared some interesting improvements that the Yoga C930 can capture. Not only will the eye touch the 13.9-inch IK display with 4K resolution and HDR support, but the real surprise is below.

This is a rotating soundtrack with the Dolby Atmos speaker system. As Lenovo says, to get the perfect sound in all situations (laptop position), the speakers were placed directly in the laptop's swivel. The one that connects the screen to the body.

It is also good to see that manufacturers respond appropriately to customers' privacy concerns. Lenovo has been in the industry for a long time, and the Yoge C930 has also received its manual plug for webcam on ThinkPad. Well, and for those who have a creative mind, a stylus has been incorporated into the body of the notebook.

There was little room for speculation on Lenovo's performance page. The latest Intel Core 8th generation processors, 16GB of RAM and fast PCIe SSDs up to 2TB were an obvious choice. The life of the paper stack is 9 hours.

The Yoga C930 is already sold on our market at a price of 1499 € without VAT.

Yoga S730

Pricing a little more yoga calls S730. Although it is part of the Yoga series, it is not a convertible notebook that can be completely inclined. However, it has a wide opening angle of the screen that can go up to 180 °. It stands out for its slim profile – 11.9 mm thick, its simple but elegant aluminum finish and its great durability at 12 o'clock.

As it stands, even this Yoga Gooey Yoga has received Intel Core 8th generation processors, up to 16GB of storage and PCIe SSD drives up to 1TB. There is an IPS screen of 13 , 3 inches with Full HD resolution and minimalist frames. We also have a backlit keyboard, a refined cooling system, Dolby Atmos speakers and a fingerprint reader.

The Yoga S730 will be available in early December at a price of € 1,019.

C930 Yoga Book

The only unique feature of Lenovo is the Yoga Book C930, also called "Yoga Book 2". Equipped with a pair of screens, the main one is a classic 10.8-inch touch-screen LCD with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels.

Similarly, the large secondary touch screen is located where we normally found a physical keyboard and based on the so-called E-Ink technology. It can perform several tasks. It features a keyboard, a digital desk for writing, writing notes and pen input, as well as an e-book reader.

Lenovo points out that he has used his knowledge gained to sell the first-generation Lenovo Yoga Book. The new model therefore improved considerably on the performance site, which was a major weakness of the predecessor. Available with Intel Core m3-7Y30 and i5-7Y74 processors, 4GB RAM and PCIe SSD up to 256GB. Battery life is limited to 9 hours and SIM-compatible models are available for continuous access to the data connection. Otherwise, it is still a compact device with a thickness of 9.9 mm and a weight of 799 grams.

However, compared to the first generation, performance has not increased. The selling price has increased rapidly. Yoga Book C930 is available on our market from 1499 €.

ThinkPad P1

Huge performance mobile workstation designed for the most demanding. It has to work the smallest, lightest and most powerful workstation of all time. Looking at the computer equipment, there is nothing to be wary of.

"Under the Hood" is the 8th generation of Intel Xeon or Intel Core processors with operating frequencies up to 4.4 GHz, 64GB of memory and the Nvidia Quadro P2000 graphics card. Certainly certified for the most used professional applications by companies such as Adobe, Autodesk, Bentley, Siemens, Vectorworks and many others.

This rough machine is about 18 mm thick and weighs 1.7 kg. In addition, the ThinkPad ThinkPad family's traditional design offers great durability, as well as an exceptional glass keyboard and touchpad. The 15.6-inch and 4-inch IPS display provides full coverage of Adobe's color gamut and a brightness of 400 nits.

The workstation would partially lose its portability if users had to carry a heavy source. Therefore, the AC adapter is 35% smaller and lighter than the front.

In this case, you must rely on the fact that you get extra performance in a portable package. The ThinkPad P1 is already on sale at a price of $ 2499.

ThinkPad X1 Extreme

The ThinkPad X1 Extreme does not matter in terms of performance. As the title indicates itself, the new door brings all the benefits of the ThinkPad X1 to the extreme.

He can thank the Intel Core i9 processor associated with 64 GB of memory and a pair of fast SSD M.2. This is surprisingly attributed to the NVIDIA GeForce 1050 Ti graphics card in Max-Q version.

If it's a ThinkPad core, it means increased resistance to mechanical damage and a combination of reliability and traditional design. Here, no big shots, the features are more intimate and effective.

Traveling workers must be satisfied with the battery life of up to 15 hours, which also allows charging up to 80% of capacity in one hour. Lenovo also highlights this security focus. It specifically mentions the possibility of mirroring hard disks, presumably with pre-installed software, a physical webcam cache, a dTPM 2.0 data encryption chip, and a fingerprint reader. If your heart is touched by this extreme ThinkPade, you need to prepare at least € 2,499.

Where is the Yoga C630 WOS?

The watchful eye probably did not miss the fact that it clearly lacked the representative of "Windows on ARM" among the products presented, or "Windows on Snapdragon". Here are the devices where we find Snapdragon chips identical to those of modern smartphones. Such a device does not yet exist on our territories, suggesting that the local market response would be far from the kilometer ideal.

Overall, the project initially posed a significant problem, but when the first aircraft were able to gain a foothold in foreign markets, it turned out that before the mass expansion, some crucial details – price, performance, software optimization – were essential.

Part of these problems should be solved by the second generation of products, but Slovakia is not simply a model climate market that is suitable for a measurable start of new features such as deviation from the years of architecture used. Manufacturers are therefore very cautious in this area, even interesting, and everything is analyzed in depth.

If, and that's good, we come to Len's C630 WOS Yoga market, it will not be until next year. Even as we evolve on a theoretical level, no firm decision has been made. First of all, it is easy to assess the reaction of larger and more ready markets, then the smaller ones will be involved.
