The 23rd edition of the International Organ Festival "Trnava Organ Organic Day" is already underway. The renowned virtuoso of the German organ Johannes Skudlik will take charge of the festive premiere of his recital on Friday, July 27th.
All concerts will take place during the festival at St. Basil's Cathedral. Nicholas. Organ music lovers can enjoy the rich representation of artists from several countries of the world. As in previous years, Trnava introduces today the avant-garde of the organ game.
A solo instrument will be performed by French, German, Italian, American, Japanese, Polish and Slovak artists. In an unusual combination with the two baroque gambams (August 19 – American Jose Vazquez and Rakusanka Lucia Krommer), a concert of early music will be performed with the accompaniment of Andrei Harinek on the oldest organ in Trnava from from 1783. During the seven concerts, the works of various Baroque authors at Postmodern will be heard on two historical organs of the Basilica of Trnava
