The new large BelugaXL aircraft carrier manufactured by Airbus on Thursday made its first flight. The plane flew in the afternoons at four pm and 11 minutes in the afternoon to an airport near the French city of Toulouse.
In the next ten months, the aircraft will have to fly for about 600 hours to obtain certification and be put into normal operation. This was cited Thursday by Airbus, an aircraft used to haul huge pieces of aircraft like hulls or wings among their European manufacturing plants.

The BelugaXL program began in November 2014 to meet the requirements of a superior Airbus transport capacity. The company currently operates five BelugaSTs. The planes are named after the beluga, which are similar, and are a special version of the large capacity Airbus A300 aircraft designed to carry large and inexpensive aircraft parts and goods.
Airbus currently operates five BelugaSTs that have been flying since 1994. The largest BelugaXL aircraft will replace these five aircraft between 2019 and 2023.
The new BelugaXL machines are based on a cargo version of the A330-200. The aircraft is over 63 meters long, almost 19 meters high and can carry more than 50 tons of cargo, three tons more than its smallest precursor. At maximum capacity, the aircraft has a range of four thousand kilometers.
