Toshiba announced that by the end of the year, the 2v1 Portégé X30T-E notebook would provide powerful hardware in the body, which would also serve as a tablet.
The Toshiba Portégé X30T rests on its detachable part with a 13.3-inch Full HD anti-glare screen that protects the Gorilla glass from Corning. The touch screen is also equipped with WACOM AES 2.0 technology. The eighth generation of Intel Core processors, which, despite their performance, offers up to 15.5 hours of battery life on this screen.
The detachable part can also work with Windows 10 Pro as a tablet with a stand and weighing only 799 grams. The body of the tablet incorporates a fingerprint reader, a USB-C port, an LTE modem and a smart card reader for selected configurations.
The docking station body includes a backlit keypad, touchpad, a second battery, and HDMI, LAN, USB-C, a 3.5mm jack, and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports . With the base, the Portégé X30T weighs 1,399 grams. But there is also a travel keyboard without built-in battery and ports, which weighs 1,189 grams and has a thickness of 15 millimeters.
Greater durability will also be an advantage when transferring. The notebook complies with MIL-STD-810G military standards and has also passed the very accelerated life test, which simulates intensive use of the device for three years, at the independent institute of the TÜV Rheinland Institute.
Towards the end of the year, two configurations will appear on our market. The base model is the Intel Core i5 Portégé X30T-E-143, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD. The second configuration is the Portégé X30T-E-1F0 with LTE modem, Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD. In both cases, a Wacom touch pen is also included.
