Hundreds of thousands of fans visited the streets of St. George on Saturday. Louis, to celebrate his first Stanley Cup in the history of the Blues with his hockey heroes.

Players walked into the city by car and greeted the crowd. Among them was the legendary St. Louis striker Brett Hull. The trophy was driven on a fire truck modified to the colors of the club. They finished the championship race under the Gateway Arch memorial, where hockey players took their place on the prepared stage.

"It's unbelievable, we all feel incredible, this cup belongs to you, fans," said Bluesman captain Alex Pietrangelo.

Even the morning rain did not deter fans. Little by little, the sky cleared and people could enjoy the celebrations. "I've never seen anything like it in my life," said coach Craig Berube to the crowd. "It's an amazing experience to be here on this stage today, the whole procession and all the rest – it's amazing, I'm looking forward to the whole city and its fans.

The players were greeted with the fans, handed over their hands, photographed with them. Ryan O'Reilly, who became the most valuable player in the game, even allowed players to touch the championship cup.

The Blues have completed 52 years of waiting for the title, one of the longest in the history of professional sports in North America. In the NHL playoff final, they beat Boston 4: 3 for the games, in the seventh deciding battle they triumphed in the 4: 1 Bruins.
