The era of Vladimir Poor in the Spartak of Trnava ends. The Slovak leader and a participant in the group stage of the European League are looking for a new owner. It's not clear when the new owner takes over the club. It's just that since January 1, 2019, Spartak will handle crisis management. However, for sale, it is essentially the brand Spartak Trnava, the club is not the owner of the City Arena, it has no training ground or youth academy.
Filmmakers instead of railway drivers?
Behind the scenes, it is believed that the most prominent administrator to buy a Trnava club is minor's family, which is also behind the popular cinema network Cinemax. In addition, the portfolio includes the film distribution company Continental Film.
Along with the outgoing owner of FC Spartak Trnava, they also have business relations, as MAX shopping centers, which also belong to Vladimír Poor, are Cinemax cinemas. According to the information Šport.sk negotiations have already begun between the two parties.
As Vladimír Poór declared on Monday: "I personally think that the younger generation can do something", or "to be younger", he might be talking about the successful brothers Michal and Tomáš Drobné.
Another J & T store?
Another candidate on the list of potential buyers is the president of the J & T Financial Group and the investor. Peter Korbačka. It was he and Vladimir Poor who were at the beginning of the summer of this year as the main figures of one of this year's biggest commercial transactions in Slovakia, when Peter Korbačka bought the City Arena shopping center in the businessman from Trnava. He has, among other things, a Eurovision portfolio in Bratislava.
As the mall is directly linked to Stadium Malone, buying a football club would be an opportunity for the financier to expand his portfolio.
Spartak in a package with ZOS?
The property of Vladimir Poor, apart from many others, is also the Trnava Repair and Railway Machinery (ŽOS), which has already been written several times, stating that it is also for sale.
Recently, the largest and most profitable group of the Slovak rail sector, Budamar, became co-owner of two major engineering companies in Slovakia, ZOS Vrutky and Popradská Tatravagónka. I would also be interested in ŽOS Trnava not a big surprise.
And Vladimir Poor had to say in the past that ÔOS Trnava would only sell one package with FC Spartak Trnava football club.
