SALT LAKE CITY – Officials on Friday said the air quality in northern Utah would be unhealthy for all groups of people.

It comes as wildfires continue to rage across the western United States, including California where the Dixie Fire became the state’s sixth largest wildfire.

Residents of Salt Lake County are urged to limit their time outside of Fridays and, if possible, limit their driving to help reduce pollution from exhaust fumes.
