Singer Nick Jonas did double duty as host and musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” – and reassured his nervous brother Kevin that, yes, they’re still a band.

“Honestly, I’m so excited to be here and support you,” said Kevin, who was in the audience during his brother’s monologue. “And also, I have to ask: Are we good? Because I see you do a lot of things solo. Are we still a group?

“Of course,” Nick replied before playing two singles from his solo album later: “Spaceman” and “This Is Heaven”.

“Are you sure? Because I just bought a house,” Kevin asked again.

The group broke up in 2013, thanks to Nick. Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas finally reunited in 2019 and quickly released their fifth album, “Happiness Begins”. Nick’s solo album “Spaceman” will be released on March 12.

Jonas has been the musical guest on the program (sometimes with his brothers) on four occasions. It was the first time he hosted.

Jonas added music to the monologue, leading Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Cecily Strong and Beck Bennett to sing “Drink With Me”, a variation of the nostalgic fellowship song from “Les Miserables.” Jonas played the role of Marius in the “Les Mis” concert in London in 2011 for the play’s 25th anniversary.
