Shane Gillis – a recently-nominated cast member for Saturday Night Live who is already accused of using racial slurs against Asians – also criticized the 2020 presidential candidate, Andrew Yang, on a podcast in May.

Gillis called Yang "Jewish ch – k" during an episode of the Real Ass Podcast held on the occasion of Memorial Day, presented by comedians Luis Gomez and Zac Amico.

Gillis spread the word to Yang as he and his hosts were talking about the 2020 Democratic presidential field.

During the exchange, Gillis described Bernie Sanders as the "Mario" of Dick Cheney's "Wario", a reference to the Super Mario Brothers video game.

He then said about Yang: "In fact, they run a Jew c – k. Chang, man. Yang? Or Chang? "He said, falling on the name of the candidate.

Vice News first unearthed the podcast recording.

Earlier this week, a video of Gillis using the same link had surfaced on another recording.

"Crazy Chinatown," Gillis told comedian Matt McCusker in a 2018 routine captured on a YouTube video. "Let the ch-ks of life live there."

Gillis offered to apologize for the YouTube video in a message released Thursday.

"I am a comedian who pushes the limits," he wrote in a message posted on Twitter.

"I miss sometimes. If you go through my 10 years of comedy, most of the time, bad, you will find a lot of bad moves. I am happy to apologize to anyone who is offended by all that I have said, "he added.

Gillis did not respond to the request for comment on Friday night.
