Saturday Night Live ‘s Weekend update reflects on some of the biggest headlines of the week. This time it included Paramount + ‘s announcement that a Frasier the rebirth series is officially underway.

Because 16 years ago since the original series ended, Colin Jost used Friends explain Frasier to young viewers, causing laughter and moans.

He also commented on the offensive content disclaimer put on the old The Muppet Show episodes on Disney +, suggesting they serve as an invitation for viewers to watch the shows.

Weekend update, which also influenced the $ 1.9 billion stimulus package (“Just like when I’m drunk, Congress decided to spend a lot of money at 2:30 a.m.,” Jost said.) and on the speech by Ted Cruz on CPAC, featuring Cecily Strong reprising her impersonation of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Kenan Thompson bringing back LaVar Ball.

Strong’s congresswoman Greene has been asked to explain his latest controversial action, stating that there are two sexes, male and female, next to the desk of a congressional colleague with a transgender girl.

“They call me the new congressional girl,” said Strong’s Greene of his penchant for causing controversy just weeks after taking office. And she doesn’t mean to be the novelty of Congress. “No, that’s like the evil clown preying on children,” she said.
