Snoop dogg finally speaks after being dissuaded by Eminem on a new song – this after Snoop dispels Shady himself a bit – and it sounds like good old-fashioned hip-hop beef.
The Doggfather left an eloquent comment on the IG post from an Eminem fan page, which featured clips of Marshall recently explaining why he called Snoop by name on his new track, “ Zeus, ” which has was released earlier this month as part of its “ Music Being Murdered By The Deluxe Album.

Snoop’s thoughts of Em’s vindication… “Please, I’m not responding to that sweet shit ass.” He added a bunch of laughing emojis afterwards, so it all seems like a lot of fun. But still … irritable.
ICYMI … Eminem, earlier this week, explained why he took pictures on Snoop on ‘Zeus’ – saying he was responding to the Long Beach rapper’s comments made over the summer on ‘The Breakfast Club’, where he said Em was not one of the top 10 rappers in his eyes and that he could live without Eminem’s contribution to hip-hop if he had to choose the historical impact.

Snoop also said that Eminem wouldn’t be anyone without Dr. Dre – something Em agreed with. His whole thing is Snoop’s tone, which he says he viewed as disrespectful and unnecessary in making his point. Em says everyone has the right to have their opinion on the best rappers to do it, but he was impressed with the way Snoop wanted to write it.
As for what Eminem actually said about Snoop, it wasn’t as fiery as you might think. The lyrics go … “And, when it comes to the mashed beef, I’m used to people hitting me / But, just not in my camp / And diplomatic like I’m trying to be / The last thing I need is Snoop doggin ‘me / Dude, Dogg, you were like a (Yeah) fucking god to me / No, not really (Haha) // I had a “dog” upside down / But I’m starting to think, all these people are taking me / S ** hits, it’s no wonder. “
Remember, Snoop and Eminem are running in the same circle – they both worked a lot with Dr. Dre … so it’s understandable why Shady was shocked to hear Snoop talk about him the way he did. To us, it doesn’t seem like Snoop was specifically aiming at Em with bad intent, but the latter clearly took it that way.
The only question now … what happens next ??? Em said what he had to say, and assuming Snoop’s words here weren’t just a joke … a dissenting lead from him might be ahead đź‘€
