Solange drops her new movie when I get home: watch

Tonight, Solange has released a new accompanying film for her latest album When I come back home. The film was made and edited by Solange; She has worked with directors Alan Ferguson, Terence Nance, Jacolby Satterwhite and Ray Tintori. It also includes contributions from Autumn Knight and Robert Pruitt. Watch it now on Apple Music.

"The film is an exploration of the origin, asking the question of how much we bring with us in relation to our evolution," said the representatives of Solange in a statement. "The artist has returned to Third Ward Houston to answer this question."

Solange stars in the movie, which features When I come back homeSongs of It contains a complex choreography, a fleet of DeLoreans, scenes of a rodeo, a horseback man wearing a great mask, a woman welding (and dragging on afterwards) what appears to be a spaceship console, and even more. During "Sound of Rain", an original surreal animated illustration by Satterwhite shows, among other things, people on fire.

Solange released her latest feature, the acclaimed review A seat at the tablein 2016. Since then, she has shot a lot behind this record and won the Grammy Award for best R & B performance ("Cranes In the Sky"), a star in a Calvin Klein campaign and much more.
