There were some very confused Giants fans in the stands at Oracle Park for Game 1 of the NLDS on Friday night, according to MLB.com.

Taylor Rogers, a Twins reliever and twin brother of Giants reliever Tyler Rogers, was in attendance for Game 1 of the National League Division Series in San Francisco, and, well, some Giants fans thought they were seeing double when Tyler Rogers entered. to close the eighth inning to help the Giants beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0.

“A lot of people took him for me, and even during the game they asked him why he was in the stands,” Tyler Rogers told MLB.com on Saturday before Game 2 at Oracle Park.

What made things even more confusing for fans was that Taylor Rogers was sitting in the stands with Jenn Rogers, her sister-in-law and Tyler’s wife.

“… I had fun watching people get confused when I saw @ roge34 [Taylor Rogers] in the stands thinking it was @ tyrogers14 [Tyler Rogers]Jenn Rogers wrote on Instagram.

“So much fun watching @ roge34 watching @ tyrogers14 pitcher for the first time,” added Jenn Rogers.

It was probably fun to see all the Giants fans around them wondering if they had had one too many beer too.

NLDS Game 2 is scheduled for 6:07 p.m. on Saturday at Oracle Park. Giants right-hander Kevin Gausman will face Dodgers left-hander Julio Urias. The match will be broadcast on TBS.
